(A) Definition. For the purposes of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GOLF CART. Has the meaning as defined in I.C. 9-13-2-69.7, as amended, which defines a golf cart to mean “a four-wheeled motor vehicle originally and specifically designed and intended to transport one or more individuals and golf clubs for the purpose of playing the game of golf on a golf course.”
(B) Scope. The requirements and restrictions imposed by this chapter as to the operation of golf carts shall refer only to the operation of golf carts on streets and alleys within the jurisdiction of the city.
