(A) The parking of a motor vehicle in an on-street parking space or in an off-street parking space in excess of the time limits set forth in this chapter or in an area designated no parking, or in an area reserved for another person, is a parking infraction and a violation of this chapter.
(B) The fine for parking a motor vehicle in violation of any provision of this chapter is $20 for the first offense within a calendar year and shall be paid to the Ordinance Violations Bureau of the City of Frankfort within 30 days of issuance of the notice of violation. If the parking fine is not paid within such 30-day period, collection of the fine, together with court costs, will be pursued through the civil court process.
