§ 155.115  COMPLETION TIME LIMIT.
   The work or use authorized by any improvement location permit, certificate of occupancy, permit for a variance or a contingent use, or any other permit, except for a special exception, must be commenced within 60 days of the date of issuance of the certificate or permit; otherwise, it shall lapse and become null and void.  All work so authorized shall be completed within 180 days from the date of issuance of the permit therefor, except for a special exception, and provided that for good cause shown the Board of Public Works and Safety may extend the work completion time for a period of 90 days. Any additional extensions needed after the 270-day period may be granted by the Board of Public Works an Safety after a hearing requested by the applicant at the Board's next meeting.  Any further extensions to be granted by the Board will be granted only for good cause established by the applicant.
