(A) Applications and petitions filed pursuant to the provisions of this zoning code shall be accompanied by the filing fees herein specified. These fees shall be paid to the Building Inspector who shall forthwith pay over to the Clerk-Treasurer to the credit of the General Fund of the city.
(B) For each petition for an appeal from the decision of the Building Inspector to the Board of Zoning Appeals, a fee of $20 shall be paid.
(C) For each application for the approval by the Board of Zoning Appeals of a special exception, a fee of $70 shall be paid. However, an application for a neighborhood convenience center plan, a fee of $150 shall be paid, and for a shopping center plan, a fee of $250 shall be paid.
(D) For each petition for an amendment to this chapter, a fee of $25 shall be paid.
(E) No part of any filing fee paid pursuant to this section shall be returnable to the applicant or petitioner, except that in the event an application for an improvement location permit has been denied, the fee for the certificate of occupancy, therefor, shall be returned to the applicant.
(F) A double fee shall be assessed, if construction is started prior to the issuance of an improvement location permit.
