§ 111.01  DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   PARKING.  Any stopping at the curb on the public highway. ('75 Code, §  19.02)  (Ord. 118, passed 9-16-26)
   TAXICAB or PUBLIC CARRIER.  Any motor vehicle used in carrying passengers for hire, which by its owner or operator is permitted to stand and be upon any street, public ground, or park, and solicit or receive passengers for hire, and is not operating on fixed schedules or routes.  ('75 Code, §  19.01)  (Ord. 99, passed 9-21-16)
