Upon the filing of a completed application with the Clerk-Treasurer, payment of the non-refundable license fee, and approval by the Mayor and Chief of Police, the Clerk-Treasurer shall issue a license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. The license shall be valid for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the issuance. If the licensee desires to continue business after the expiration of the license, a new license must be secured in the same manner and under the same terms and conditions as the original license.
