(A) Each applicant for a license under the provisions of this chapter shall be accompanied by a license fee which shall be non-refundable. The license fee for non-residents of the city shall be $100, plus $25 for each additional hawker, peddler, or solicitor over the one included in the application. The license fee for residents of the city shall be $5. ('75 Code, § 17.05)
(B) Any person exempted by the laws of this state from payment of any such license fees, shall before beginning business, present to the Clerk-Treasurer his credentials showing that he is entitled to the exemption. ('75 Code, § 17.06)
