The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized, pursuant to I.C. 36-4-11-4, to appoint two Deputy Clerk- Treasurers, one to be paid solely from funds appropriated for the office of Clerk-Treasurer, and one to be paid from funds appropriated for the office of Clerk-Treasurer and other funds for whom the Clerk-Treasurer provides services. The Deputies shall work under the exclusive direction of the Clerk-Treasurer, and serve at the pleasure of the Clerk-Treasurer.
