§ 90.48  REDEMPTION BY OWNER.
   (A)   Any healthy animal seized or impounded for being at large may be redeemed by the owner or other person, as authorized herein, at any time prior to the disposition of the animal under § 90.49(B), upon showing that the animal has a current license and rabies vaccination tag, and upon the payment to the Humane Society the following charges:
      (1)   A processing fee;
      (2)   A vaccination charge; and
      (3)   A boarding charge per day of the animal stay, any additional charges for service including:

   (B)   Any animal seized or impounded for any reason who appears to any duly licensed veterinarian to have any infectious or contagious disease, other than rabies, may be destroyed forthwith.
   (C)   Any animal impounded pursuant to § 90.09 shall be confined at the animal shelter or, at the discretion of the impounding officer, at the owner’s premises in a secure place not accessible to the public.  The Humane Office shall have continuing authority and discretion to remove any privately confined animal to the Animal Shelter at any time during a ten day period.  The animal may be redeemed by the owner or other person as provided herein, upon showing that the animal has a current licence tag and rabies vaccination tag, and by payment to the Clinton County Humane Society of the applicable fee for the confinement period.
