§ 72.15  DESIGNATED ZONES; TIME LIMIT.
   (A)   No parking spaces shall be reserved for the use of a particular person, firm, corporation, official, employee, or other legal entity.  However, the Board of Public Works and Safety shall have the power to reserve a parking space or spaces for the loading and unloading of inter-city buses.  The Board shall also have the power from time to time, whether in areas posted with parking meters or otherwise, to designate and reserve loading and unloading space or spaces for trucks for the loading and unloading of articles of intra-and inter-city commerce.
   (B)   Loading and unloading zones and the parking time limit therein shall not exceed 30 minutes, to be designated from time to time by the Board by erecting or causing to be erected proper and suitable signs and warnings designating this, with regard to the proper flow and safety of traffic, vehicular and pedestrian, with regard to a fair apportionment of the time for loading and unloading trucks therein with regard to a convenient location therefor from the standpoint of all such traffic, and with regard to an equitable apportionment of loading and unloading distance among the trucks involved.

   (C)   There shall be no more than one truck loading and unloading zone on any side of any street within any block of the city.  ('75 Code, § 27.06)
