Map 1, appearing below, shows the boundaries of the Crosstown Overlay District. The Overlay District consists of two components. The first component consists of the State Road 39 corridor from the north corporate limits to the south corporate limits. The second component consists of the State Road 28 corridor between Prairie Avenue where the West State Road 28 Overlay District ends and Hoke Avenue where the East State Road 28 Overlay District begins. Any parcels which abut either street corridor shall be considered to be entirely within the Crosstown Overlay District. Whenever the Crosstown Overlay District includes property within the Downtown Frankfort Historic District, the standards of the Frankfort Downtown Historic District shall take precedence.
