§ 51.040 RESTRICTIONS ON WATER USE.
The use of water within the village shall be subject to various use restrictions established by the Village President when it has been determined by the Village President that an adequate supply of potable water may not be available within the village for drinking and health-related purposes, fire protection, and other emergency uses. In making the determination that an adequate supply of water may not be available within the village, the Village President shall consider the amount of water consumed within the village, any increase or decrease in the amount of water consumption, the capacity of the pumping system used to provide water within the village, and the adequacy of the village's supply of potable water.
