§ 132.20 MINORS PROHIBITED ON STREETS DURING CERTAIN HOURS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person under 16 years of age to be on, about or remain upon any street, alley, public way or public place situated within the corporate limits of the village between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. unless such person is accompanied by a parent, guardian or other person having custody of said minor person or unless the minor person is engaged in lawful and permitted employment making it necessary to be in a place or on such street, alley, public way or public place after 9:30 p.m. or before 5:00 a.m.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person between 16 years of age and under 18 years of age to be on, about or remain upon any street, alley, public way or public place situated within the corporate limits of the village between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Sunday through 5:00 a.m. Friday and between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a.m. on Friday evening and Saturday evening unless such person is accompanied by a parent or guardian, or other person having custody of said minor, or unless said minor is engaged in lawful employment making it necessary to be in a place at a time not otherwise permitted herein.
   (C)   Exemption. No child shall be guilty of this offense if involved in, going to or coming from an activity involving the exercise of the child's rights protected under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and or Article 1, Sections 2, 4, and 5 of the Constitution of the State of Illinois.
