No business entity or person shall cause or engage in the business or activity of a peddler, solicitor, or canvasser within the village without first obtaining a license therefore as provided in this subchapter; provided that no such license shall be required for peddlers and solicitors dealing only in books, periodicals and publications, however, such persons shall be registered as provided in § 115.03. The fee for such licenses shall be as from time to time established by the President and Board of Trustees.
