Any owner and/or operator of a snowmobile within the village shall register the snowmobile each year that the snowmobile is operated in the village beginning on a date not more than 30 days from the date of adoption of this ordinance and shall do so an or before the 30th day of June of each and every year thereafter, or within ten days of the date of acquisition of a snowmobile, and on payment of the registration of license fee hereinafter provided to the village, the Village Clerk shall issue or cause to be issued a registration certificate or license authorizing the operation of such license. All registration certificates or licenses shall expire on the 1st day of July of each year.
