§ 96.20 PLACING SNOW AND/OR ICE ONTO PUBLIC WAYS IS PROHIBITED.
   For purposes of this section, PUBLIC WAY is defined as any passageway open as of right to the public and designed for travel by vehicle, on foot, or otherwise including but not limited to sidewalks, paths, streets, alleys, and parking lots, including spaces marked for handicap parking.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to plow, blow, shovel or otherwise place or deposit snow and/or ice onto any public way.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful to obstruct, harass, prevent, or otherwise interfere with any employee of the village engaged in snow removal operations or to obstruct, cause damage to, or otherwise interfere with any village vehicle used in snow removal operations.
   (C)   The Director of Public Works, or designated representative, is authorized, in addition to other persons having enforcement powers pursuant to local ordinance, to enforce the provisions of this section.
   (D)   Any person or business found to be in violation of any provision of this section shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $750 for each offense.
