§ 90.07 DANGEROUS ANIMALS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to own or possess a dangerous animal within the village. DANGEROUS ANIMAL is defined as any wild mammal, reptile or fowl which is not naturally tame or gentle, but is of a wild nature or disposition and which, because of its size, vicious nature or other characteristics, could constitute a danger to human life or property. The term DANGEROUS ANIMAL shall also mean and include any domestic animal, reptile or fowl which, because of its size, vicious propensity or other characteristics, could constitute a danger to human life or property.
   (B)   Any dangerous animal which is found off the premises of its owner may be seized by any police officer or animal control officer and immediately turned over to the county's Department of Animal Control.
