(A) The Mayor shall be the chief executive, administrative, and law enforcement officer of the City. He or she shall be responsible to the residents of the City for the administration of all municipal affairs placed in the Mayor’s charge by or under this Charter, the ordinances or resolutions of the City, and the General Laws of Ohio applicable to General Statutory Plan Cities.
(B) The powers, functions and duties of the Mayor shall be as provided in this Charter and the General Laws of Ohio applicable to General Statutory Plan Cities, including the veto power with respect to ordinances and resolutions passed by the Council.
