The Director of Public Service and Safety shall not issue a permit for the purpose described in Section 941.08 until the applicant for the permit has deposited in cash, or by check payable to the City, a tap-in charge to be determined in accordance with the following schedules.
(a) Schedule A Residential.
(1) Single-family residence $200.00.
(2) Two-family residence $275.00.
(3) Multiple-family residences $350.00.
A. For each dwelling unit in excess of three $75.00.
B. Maximum amount $2,500.00.
(b) Schedule B Commercial and Industrial Establishments.
(1) Except as hereinafter provided, the following tap-in charges shall be applicable depending upon the size of the water meter installed or to be installed:

(2) However, if the water to be used on the premises is or will not be measured by a water meter, the Director shall, on the basis of accepted engineering practices and of requirements of similar or comparable establishments, determine the size of a water meter that would be required to serve the premises, and the meter size so determined shall be used in calculating the charge under Schedule B.
(c) Schedule C: Storm Water Tap-in Fee.

(d) Inspection Fees.
Inspection fees for connection to the City system shall be as determined by the City Engineer and shall be listed on the current fee schedule.
