7-2-2: RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENTS:
It shall be unlawful for the parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under the age of eighteen (18) years to allow or permit such minor to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or drive, operate or ride in an automobile randomly, purposelessly or aimlessly in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds, other public grounds, other public places or other unsupervised places, during those hours when the same is prohibited as defined in section 7-2-1 of this chapter; provided however, that the provisions of this section do not apply when the minor is accompanied by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his or her parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.
