Between May 15 and September 15 water from the village water distribution system shall not be used on any day between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. (local time) when evapotranspiration is at its highest, nor shall watering be done on the same property on consecutive days, for the purpose of:
(A) Watering or sprinkling of gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs and other outdoor plants, except that such restriction shall not prohibit the watering of newly planted gardens (less than 3 months old), lawns, trees, shrubs and plants with handheld watering devices; and
(B) New/replacement sprinkler systems shall be equipped with a WaterSense labeled irrigation controller and shall be in compliance with section 2.5(g) of the Illinois plumbing license law 1 .
