The following fees are hereby set for a license pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter: (Ord. 81-13, 12-15-1981)
(A) The person in possession of each vending machine offering candy, nuts, soft drinks, coffee, milk, popcorn, sandwiches and other foods or gum where the cost of any item is not less than twenty five cents ($0.25), shall pay an annual (calendar year) fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each machine operating in the Village. Said license shall not be assignable, nor shall the fee be prorated for periods less than one year.
(B) The person in possession of any cigarette vending machine or a machine or device making any sale of cigarettes in bulk or by the package, shall pay an annual (calendar year) fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each machine operated in the Village, and for each establishment where such sales are made. Said license shall not be assignable, nor shall the fee be prorated for periods less than one year. (Ord. 94-18, 10-28-1994)
The Clerk shall issue a decalcomania for each machine to the applicant, which decalcomania shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the machine. Said licenses shall be issued on a calendar year basis. Said license fees shall not be prorated for periods less than one year and shall not be assignable. (Ord. 81-13, 12-15-1981)
