There is hereby established a planning and zoning board for the village; said board shall consist of seven (7) members to serve respectively for the following terms: one for one year; one for two (2) years; one for three (3) years; one for four (4) years; and one for five (5) years; one for six (6) years; and one for seven (7) years. The successor to each member so appointed shall serve for a term of five (5) years. (Ord. 61-56, 12-1961)
Effective January 1, 2015, the planning and zoning board is abolished. Thereafter, any and all functions prescribed by the state statutes for the planning and zoning board shall be undertaken by the committee of the whole of the corporate authorities of the village of Forest View. All references to the planning and zoning board and the plan commission in the village zoning ordinance shall mean the committee of the whole. (Ord. 14-14, 12-9-2014)
