§ 111.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   EMPLOYEE. Any person who works for an establishment regulated by this chapter, regardless of whether or not said person is paid a salary, wage or other compensation by the operator of said business and whether or not the person is determined an employee, independent contractor, agent or otherwise. The term Employee does not include a person exclusively on the premises for repair or maintenance of the premises or equipment on the premises, or for the delivery of goods to the premises.
   ESTABLISHMENT. A business or facility that provides its premises, with or without a fee, as a venue for a late night event.
   LATE NIGHT EVENT.   Any dance, party, concert or other entertainment gathering that is scheduled to continue past 11:00 p.m. Late night events do not include the normal business operations of an establishment.
   LICENSEE. Any person in whose name a license to operate an event promotion business or an establishment has been issued, as well as the individual listed as an applicant on the application for a license. Licensee includes the holders of both Establishment Licenses and Promoter Licenses, unless otherwise indicated.
   PRIVATE PARTY OR RECEPTION.   A gathering which is closed to members of the general public and carries no charge for admission. A private party or reception does not include an event which is promoted through flyers, handbills, postcards or other form of advertisement.
   PROMOTER. The organizer or coordinator of a late night event.
   RENTAL. The provision of the premises for the use of an organizer, operator or promoter of an event, whether or not any compensation is paid to the establishment.
