No auto for hire shall exhibit any sign, symbol, lettering, or figures on or from any part of such vehicle except the license tags required by law; nor shall any auto for hire solicit or accept passengers on the streets or public places, or stand on any public taxicab stand; but autos for hire may be used as driverless autos for hire, without any additional fee.
