§ 98.07 ACCEPTABLE TREE REMOVAL AREAS.
   (A)   Tree removal is permitted within the area used or to be used by a permanent structure within the lot building area and ten feet to either side, front or rear of said structure, without replacement planting.
   (B)   Tree removal is permitted on entire site for access roads, parking areas, canopies, patios, decks, sidewalks, utility installation, water retention and similar necessary development needs provided replacement plantings are installed using the following procedures:
      (1)   List the number, category, and species of trees to be removed that are of the minimum protected size or greater as described in § 98.02.
      (2)   Replacement planting shall be 50% of the number and category removed and at the size as described in § 98.14.
   (C)   However, it is required that reasonable effort shall be made to save trees with a diameter of two inches or more, endangered species and stands of trees within all tree removal areas. (Reasonable effort shall include but not be limited to alternate building design, building location, parking area layout, parking area location, water retention location, and the like).
