§ 98.02 PRESERVATION OF TREES.
   Consistent with the expressed purposes of this chapter, all persons shall make reasonable efforts to preserve and retain any existing, self-supporting, trees as defined herein. The minimum protection size for Categories I and II is six caliper inches. Category III is eight caliper inches and Category IV is two caliper inches. However, no person shall cut, destroy, cause to be destroyed, move or remove any tree, as defined in § 98.01, without first obtaining an approval letter as required by § 98.04 or a tree approval as required by § 98.06.
