§ 71.59 WEIGHT OF VEHICLE.

   (A)   It shall be unlawful, except in cases wherein permits have been granted as provided in § 71.65:

      (1)   To transport under its own power any road roller, steam or power shovel, traction engine, or other self-propelled machinery upon the highway.

      (2)   To operate, transport, or move any other vehicle, object, contrivance, structure, or load, weighing (both vehicle and load) in excess of the weight listed in §§ 71.61 and 71.62.

   (B)   The provisions of this section shall not apply to vehicles, equipment, or loads belonging to or used by any department of the municipality.
