(A) Any person who is employed by the city as a regular full- time employee, regular part-time employee, or is a member of the Forest Park auxiliary police department shall file with the Commission a certificate or other authentic proof of continuous service, whereupon he/she shall receive additional credit given in any open examination in which he/she receives a passing grade in the following manner. (B) The above points are to apply to any regular full-time or regular part-time employee of the city who successfully completes and obtains a passing grade in an open examination for another position in the city. (Ord. 9-1982, passed 4-19-82)
(C) The provisions set forth in § 36.56(A) shall apply to the existing and future eligibility lists prepared by the Secretary.
(D) In no event shall the combined total point preference awarded under § 36.56(A) be in excess of five (5) points.
