There is hereby established a Law Enforcement Trust Fund for receipts and proceeds from the sale of contraband as provided in R.C. § 2933.43. This Fund shall be allocated only to the Forest Park Division of Police and shall be expended only to pay the cost of protracted or complex investigations or prosecutions, to provide reasonable technical training or expertise, to provide matching funds to obtain federal grants to aid law enforcement, or for such other law enforcement purposes as determined by this Council to be appropriate in accord with Ohio Law. The City Finance Director is hereby directed to establish and maintain the Law Enforcement Trust Fund provided for herein.
