It is the intent to provide uniforms or special clothing for all personnel required to wear such clothing in accordance with the following provisions.
(A) Employees required by the department head to wear prescribed uniforms in the performance of their duties as city employees shall be furnished such uniforms and replacements as needed in accordance with the rules established by the City Manager.
(B) The City Manager may enter into contractual agreements or negotiate as part of an employment benefit package for providing personnel with uniforms and cleaning service or an allowance as deemed appropriate.
