§ 113.05 GROUP LICENSES.
   (A)   Any nonprofit organization, society, association or corporation desiring to engage in activities defined in § 113.01, for the promotion of a civic event or for a business promotion or for fund raising activities in furtherance of the organization's purposes and in connection therewith, to use public or private property for the sale of goods, wares, food and merchandise by or through peddlers and transient merchants, must first secure a special group license to include all participating persons or businesses by making a sworn application in writing on a form to be furnished by the City Clerk which shall give the following information:
      (1)   Names and addresses of the officers and directors of the organization;
      (2)   Specific date or dates upon which the group license is sought;
      (3)   Specific location or locations upon which the activity is to be conducted. If any part of the activity is to be conducted on private property, the written consent of the owner of the property must be obtained and attached to the application;
      (4)   Evidence of the nonprofit status of the organization;
      (5)   Full name and address of each person or business to be covered by the group license.
   (B)   Upon being satisfied that the organization is nonprofit and qualifies for a group license hereunder, a special group license shall be issued upon payment of a fee in the amount established by the city’s fee schedule as it may be amended from time to time; provided, however, that if the City Clerk deems it necessary for the protection of the public health, welfare, and safety, he or she may refer the application to the Chief of Police and Fire Chief for investigation as set forth herein and the license shall not be issued until favorable recommendations are received from the Police Chief and Fire Chief.
   (C)   The above mentioned license fee shall be in addition to any rental fee which may be required by the city for the use of its public parking lot or other public property.
