§ 99.16 RIDING OF HORSES.
   (A)   No person or persons shall race or immoderaty ride or drive any horse or horses, mare, gelding or mule through the highways and streets of the city nor shall any person ride or drive or cause to be driven any horse, mare, gelding or mule through the highways or streets faster than at the rate of 5 miles per hour, or in a manner as to endanger or unnecessarily incommode any person.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or drive any animal, cart, wagon or automobile along or across any sidewalk in the city, except where the same is intersected by streets or alleys.
   (C)   Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished according to law.
