§ 93.05 INSPECTIONS.
   (A)   In order to ensure the health, safety and public welfare the city shall conduct regular fire inspections of all commercial, retail and industrial buildings and structures within the city.
   (B)   The owners or persons in control of any building or structure, or part thereof, shall give access to all parts of the premises during business hours for inspection.
   (C)   Inspections will be conducted no more than once each calendar year unless the city is conducting a reinspection to determine whether previously discovered violations have been remedied or has reasonable cause to believe that a fire hazard or violation of any code requirements that may post a fire hazard exists or is occurring on the premises.
   (D)   A fee shall be charged for each inspection in the amount established in the fee ordinance of the city.
      (1)   The fee shall be due and payable within 30 days of the date of delivery of an invoice to the owner or occupant of the building or structure or any part thereof.
      (2)   Upon the failure of the owner or occupant of the building or structure to pay the required fee, the city, in addition to any other remedy it may have for collection of the amount owing, may certify the same to the County Auditor of Washington County, Minnesota for collection in the same manner as taxes and special assessments are collected.
