§ 71.04 USE AND OPERATION OF SNOWMOBILES.
   (A)   All provisions of M.S. §§ 84.81 through 84.915, as they may be amended from time to time, together with all rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto, are incorporated herein and made a part of this section by reference, and it shall be unlawful to own or operate a snowmobile within the city in violation thereof.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile over and upon any sidewalk or upon any public park or playground which has been posted with signs prohibiting motorized vehicles in the city.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any snowmobile within the city unless the snowmobile has attached to it as installed by the manufacturer and in good operating condition a standard engine muffler and exhaust system.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful to operate any snowmobile upon the public streets, alleys or public property within the city between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week and between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday of each week, except that operation of a snowmobile shall be permitted until 1:30 a.m. on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
   (E)   No person shall operate any snowmobile within the city at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour, except that snowmobiles may be operated on the portions of the Hardwood Creek Regional Trail located south of the State Highway 97 bridge and north of the U.S. Highway 8 overpass at speeds up to 50 miles per hour.
   (F)   Any person violating any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished according to law.
