This section is enacted pursuant to M.S.A. § 471.62, as it may be amended from time to time, and other applicable laws of the state. The purpose of this section is to provide uniform rules for the regulation of traffic and the operation of vehicles upon the streets and highways in the city in conformity with those rules applicable to the streets and highways of the entire state.
