The purpose of these provisions is to restrict activities for the protection of public health and safety. The provisions are intended to mitigate the adverse impacts of manufactured dwelling closures on park residents by ensuring: that the closure is preceded by adequate notice; that the social and economic impacts of the involuntary relocation of tenants associated with the closure are adequately defined; and that relocation and other assistance is provided to park residents.
