(a) Before any extensions may be made to the public sewer system of the Village by the Owner or developer of lots or land, either inside or outside the corporation limits, there shall be submitted to the Village for approval, three (3) sets of plans and specifications signed by a registered civil engineer and any other pertinent information relating to the proposed extension. No construction shall be commenced until said approval has been obtained in writing.
(b) If the plans are approved, the sewer must be laid in accordance with standard construction methods and under the approval of this Sewer Inspector.
