Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). In addition, when appropriate, the person may be ordered to replace a damaged tree with a tree of a size and species recommended by the Tree Commission. Each tree affected by noncompliance with this chapter shall constitute a separate violation.
