(a) Council hereby restricts truck traffic on certain streets within the Village of Forest.
(b) There is a need to prohibit and restrict truck styled motor traffic on the following streets due to excessive wear and tear: Davis Street, except immediately adjacent to McBride’s Furniture; Dixon Street; Gage Street; Gormley Street; Hueston Street, except immediately adjacent to McBride’s Furniture; Julia Street; Louisa Street; Martin Street; Mary Street; Patterson Street; Smith Street, except between the 200 and 500 blocks; Warner Street; Zimmerman Street.
(c) For the purposes of this section, a truck styled motor vehicle is defined as follows:
(1) Single axle tractor truck, any and all which weigh 11,090 pounds or greater;
(2) Double axle tractor truck any and all which weigh 15,000 pounds or greater.
(d) The two above weight classifications of truck motor vehicles are restricted and prohibited from utilizing the above outlined streets. Said motor vehicle are prohibited from usage by traffic thoroughfare or parking.
(e) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
