(a) General: Where there is a conflict between a general and a specific requirement, the specific requirement shall govern. Where, in a specific case, different sections of this Code specify different requirements, the most restrictive shall govern.
(b) Workmanship: Repairs, maintenance work, alterations or installations which are caused directly or indirectly by the enforcement of this Code shall be executed and installed in a workman like manner and installed in accordance with the manufacturers installation instructions.
(c) Historic Buildings: Historic Buildings (officially designated as such) shall comply with this Code so far as they apply to health and safety.
