(a) All full-time employees shall receive the following recognized holidays off at their regular rate of pay:

Memorial Day | Christmas Eve Day |
Independence Day | Christmas Day |
(b) The holiday shall be considered the day upon which said holiday is actually celebrated, if not celebrated on the calendar day upon which it falls. Should the paid holiday fall on a Saturday or Sunday, the preceding Friday or following Monday shall be considered the holiday unless another date is agreed upon with the appropriate department supervisor and approved by the Village Administrator or, in the absence of the Village Administrator, by the Mayor.
(c) All part-time employees shall receive the following recognized holidays off at their regular rate of pay:
