(a) All houses, business buildings and other occupied structures located within the corporate limits of the Village of Forest shall be numbered according to the numbering system adopted by Council.
(b) Within thirty days after the effective date of this section, the owner or his/her designee shall affix the assigned number to the front side of the house, business building or other occupied structure, utilizing numerals or letters not less than three inches in height.
(c) As new houses or other buildings are erected in the Village, it shall be the duty of the Zoning Enforcement Officer of the Village to notify the owner thereof of the number assigned to the house or building. The owner shall have thirty days after construction is completed to affix the assigned number to the front side of the house or other building.
