The employment of a Park and Recreation Director shall initially be for a probationary period of 180 days and the employment is not permanent until the employee has satisfactorily completed the probationary period. If the service of the probationary employee is unsatisfactory, the employee may be terminated at any time prior to the expiration of the probationary period, provided the employee is given two weeks written notice thereof.
