(A) Methods of payment. The City of Folly Beach may accept or offer payment by any of the following methods for all charges due to or due from the city:
(1) Cash;
(2) Check;
(3) Bank draft;
(4) Money order;
(5) Bank card or credit card;
(6) Electronic funds transfer.
(B) Service charge. For forms of payment other than cash or check, the city may add a charge, not to exceed 4% of the original amount due, in order to recoup charges made to the city by the payment processor.
(C) Agreement for services. The City Administrator or Director of Finance are authorized to determine the specific credit cards, bank cards, and electronic transfers that will be accepted under this section, as well as to contract with a bank or credit card vendor for acceptance of bank cards or credit cards.
