§ 32.02 MAYOR PRO TEMPORE.
   The City Council shall elect, after each regular two-year election, one of their body as the Mayor Pro Tempore to serve as such for two years, who shall act as Mayor during the absence or disability of the Mayor, and if a vacancy occurs shall act as Mayor until a successor is duly elected and qualified.
