§ 113.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ACCOMMODATION. Any room (excluding meeting and conference rooms), campground spaces, recreational vehicle spaces, lodgings or sleeping accommodations furnished to transients by any hotel, motel, inn, condominium, bed and breakfast, residence or any other place in which rooms, lodgings or sleeping accommodations are furnished to transients for a consideration within the city. Gross proceeds received from the lease or rental of ACCOMMO- DATIONS provided to the same person or persons for a term of more than 30 continuous days are not considered proceeds from transients and shall not be subject to the accommodation fee imposed by this chapter.
   RESIDENT. Any person who has or shall have the right of occupancy of any rooms, lodgings or sleeping accommodations in the same place for a term of more than 30 continuous days.
   TRANSIENT. Any person seeking accommo- dations for a temporary period of time, not to exceed 30 days.
