§ 95.10 ANIMAL BITES; PROCEDURE.
   Any animal who bites any person within the city limits shall be confined for a period of not less than ten days. This section applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated animals. It shall be at the discretion of the animal services officer and/or the Chief of Police whether the animal shall be confined upon the owner's premises or placed in a private or county pound. If deemed necessary to place the animal in a private or county pound, all costs shall be the responsibility of the owner of the animal.
