§ 99.08 TREE CLASSIFICATIONS; STANDARDS.
   (A)   Planting the correct tree species on the public right-of-way or on public property is just as important as identifying a tree planting site. The size of the tree selected should conform to the size of the planting site. A recommended species list has been compiled, and has been broken down into small, medium and large tree size classifications. This list, included as Appendix A, shall be referred to for proper tree selection. The Urban Forest Commission reserves the right to approve trees for planting other than those listed in Appendix A. The recommended species list will be updated by the Urban Forest Commission as conditions necessitate the need for change.
   (B)   A list of trees that are undesirable for planting on the public right-of-way and public properties has also been compiled. The undesirable species list is included as Appendix B and must be referred to before planting on the public right-of-way or on public property. The Urban Forest Commission reserves the right to reject proposed trees not listed in Appendix B. The undesirable species list may be periodically updated by the Urban Forest Commission as conditions necessitate the need for change.
   (C)   Tree trimming and pruning shall be done in accordance with the National Arborists Association Pruning Standards.
