§ 19-25 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF FIRE CHIEF AT FIRES.

The Chief of Fire Department shall have full power, control and command over all persons whatever at any fire. The Chief of the Fire Department, or any person for the time being lawfully controlling the Fire Department, shall so use the fire apparatus and direct the efforts and labors of their assistants of every grade as to extinguish the fire with the least possible damage.
